The Care Guide

GLIZAR jewelry is handcrafted using the finest yet responsibly sourced materials with ingenious designs for daily wear or special occasions. A lot of considerations were put into the material selections during the design session to ensure they meet the GLIZAR standards. Our pieces are made to last a long time but only with proper jewelry care.

All of our 925 sterling silver or sterling brass jewelry is plated with a layer of 14K gold or 18K gold. Please try not to let them come into contact with unpurified water, alcohol (hand sanitizer), or any other corrosive liquids. Otherwise, the plating may be damaged, and oxidation of the inner material may occur, causing the product to turn black or green. However, the color change due to the oxidation is entirely normal and will not cause any harm to the body.

14K Gold

The 14k alloy gives our pieces their beautiful, subtle hue. it scratches less and doesn't bend or wear out as easily as 18k.

18K Gold

Our jewelry is a thick layer of 18k gold on sterling silver meaning it will last longer. You get the look & feel of gold jewelry at a fraction of the price.

Sterling Silver

925 Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. We plate our sterling brass jewelry in rhodium, which gives it extra shine and durability. Rhodium is one of the costliest precious metals due to its rarity.

Solid Gold

Solid gold is a precious metal that will not oxidize or discolor.
